About Our Movie
little bunker hill is a forthcoming feature film, written and directed by Matt Gill, and starring Caroline Forbes, Kylee Jacoby, Emily Kranking, Posie Lewis, Casey Rice, and Mia Vallet.
The film, shot by Sam Krueger and designed by Angela Chesser, was inspired by the vivid awe of the American Impressionists, and the meditative interiors of painters like Vilhelm Hammershøi.
We are going to spare you from the many many filmmakers who have consistently nourished the creativity of this piece.
Some History
The production was initiated entirely outside of the studio system, in kind with the project's subject. Ellison Goodall is one of four remaining members of an association of women living outside of rapidly industrializing 1844-New England.
This is not entirely fiction! The first half of the 19th century saw a wellspring of outsider thought, and experimental communities where people of all stripes lived in an egalitarian way. Brook Farm, the North American Phalanx, and Fruitlands are a few among dozens throughout the northeast that drove the team's research. They also struck the curiosity of visitors like Nathaniel Hawthorne, Frederick Douglass, Margaret Fuller, and Ralph Waldo Emerson.
The Rest of Our Team
In January 2024, nearly 20 filmmakers set out to the blistering cold of New Hampshire to conjure up and challenge this utopian dream. In order to realize the leap from page to screen, the team worked for pasta. lodging, and the opportunity to hone our crafts in a rigorous explorative environment.

This is where we need your help! Like the dozens of utopian experiments that proliferated New England in the 19th century, we rely on a little effort from a wide array of people to realize this dream.
Post-Production began properly in March. Now, a smaller band of us continue cultivating the life of the soon-to-be-finished film. This requires intense effort, experimentation, and maintaining the sense of risk we found on set.

We hope to raise $30,000 to continue to pay our two editors, sound mixer, sound designer, and colorist, as well as provide funds for festival submissions. Additionally, we will need to book studio time and pay technicians and actors to record ADR, foley, and voiceover work.

You will receive an emailed receipt immediately after your donation is submitted and your credit card is processed. Your donation will also show up on your bank or card statement within 1-3 business days.

Yes, a receipt is sent to your email inbox once your donation is processed. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each period when your donation is processed.
